Privacy policy

Boongarust takes nothing from you and sells nothing about you. Here is what that means in practice.

On this site

You do not need an account to use Boongarust. We do not ask for your name, your email or anything else. The only thing we store is your choice of light or dark theme, and that stays in your browser's local storage. It never reaches us.

The web server keeps standard access logs. Those include your IP address, the pages you open and your browser type. We keep them briefly, for security and to see which pages people actually use.

Cloudflare

Cloudflare sits in front of Boongarust and handles delivery and protection. That means Cloudflare sees visitors' IP addresses. It may also set its own security cookie if it needs to check whether you are a bot. That cookie is Cloudflare's, not ours.

Fonts and flags

The fonts we use are served from this site. The exception is the force wipe timer page: its country flags come from jsDelivr, a public code host. When your browser loads that file, jsDelivr receives your IP address and some browser details. We do not use Google services on Boongarust.

Cookies and analytics

We set no cookies of our own. There is no analytics script here. There is no advertising tracker. We are not building a profile of you and we have nothing to sell about you, because we hold nothing to sell.

Server data

The stats you see for Rust servers come from what those servers publish to the public server list and answer to direct queries: names, player counts, settings, descriptions and images. None of it is about individual players. Player counts are totals, not lists of who is on.

Questions

Does Boongarust track me across other sites?

No. There is no analytics script, no ad tracker and no third-party cookie from us. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell or share visitor data because we do not hold any to sell.

What data do you store when I browse the site?

Your light or dark theme choice stays in your browser's local storage and never reaches us. The web server keeps short-lived access logs with your IP address, the pages you visit and your browser type. That is all.

Do you collect data about individual Rust players?

No. The information we show about Rust servers comes from what those servers publish to the public server list and answer to direct queries. Player counts are totals, not lists of who is on or what they are doing.
