The lists split four ways: play style, group size, gather rate and region. Group size is the one that saves you the most time. Solo, duo and trio lists only carry servers that publish a team limit, so you will not spawn into a full clan. Region matters because peak hours do not line up. An Australian evening is a UK morning. A US east evening is a UK small hours. The busiest server shifts with the clock, and so do these lists. Gather rates come straight from what servers call themselves. A 3x list means 3x, not a marketing guess.
Nothing here is bought. Order comes from live player counts pulled from Steam. If that ever changes, a paid slot will be marked sponsored and kept out of the ranking. Want more control? The server browser filters by map, wipe cycle, group limit and more. If you time your start around an update, check when the next force wipe lands first. Servers fill fastest right after one.
Questions
How does Boongarust rank these servers?
Each list is ordered by the number of players online right now, read from Steam's public server list every five minutes. No votes, reviews or payments change the order. The Rank column on a full list page looks at the last week hour by hour, so a server that stays busy ranks above one that only fills after a wipe.
Can a server pay to appear higher on a best-of list?
No. Placement comes from live player counts alone. If Boongarust ever sells a sponsored spot, it will be labelled as sponsored and kept separate from the ranking. Because the data refreshes every five minutes, a server that empties out drops down fast.
Is the busiest server always the best one to join?
Not always. A high count means more fights but also more competition for monuments, crates and base spots. Check the wipe timer and group limit on the server page before you connect. A trio server early in its wipe often plays better than a no-limit server that has been running for a week.
Why does one server show up on several lists?
Servers can meet more than one rule. A 2x EU server with a trio cap belongs on the 2x, EU and trio lists. Boongarust builds each list from live data, so a server appears wherever its name, tags or published settings match that list's rule.
