Using Boongarust means accepting these terms. They cover what we promise and what we don't.
What Boongarust is. We collect information that public Rust servers broadcast and show it in one place. Player counts, wipe dates, rankings. That's it. We refresh every five minutes.
Accuracy. Data comes from servers and Steam's public list. Servers can lie about their name or wipe time. Counts can be stale. We don't check every detail. What you see is a snapshot. Don't treat it as gospel.
Your use. Browse, compare, pick a server. No account needed. No payment. Just don't slam the site with requests that slow it down for everyone else. If you want the raw data for something bigger, email hello@boongarust.org.
Bots and crawlers. You're welcome here. Check robots.txt and llms.txt first. They tell you what's where. Keep your request rate low enough that human visitors still get fast pages.
For server owners. Your server appears because it's on the public list. Everything on its page—name, tags, wipe schedule, player slots—comes from what your server publishes. To change it, change it on your end. Most updates show up within five minutes.
Independence. Boongarust is not connected to Facepunch Studios. Rust is their trademark. We just report on servers.
Changes to these terms. We can update these terms at any time. The date below shows when we last did. Keep using the site and you accept the new version.

Questions
Can I use Boongarust data for my own project?
Yes, within reason. For casual use, just browse the site. For larger datasets, email hello@boongarust.org and we'll figure something out. Don't scrape aggressively without asking.
How accurate are the player counts and wipe times?
They come straight from what servers report, so they're as accurate as the servers themselves. Some servers lie or lag. Treat the numbers as a guide, not absolute truth.
Do I need an account to use Boongarust?
No. The site is free and open. No sign-up, no payment. Just don't overload our servers with requests.
